CHARMAINE HOOPER

Quite simply the best ever female soccer player. (Sorry, you Mia Hamm fans!!!). Charmaine was named the MVP when the World All-Stars Team beat the full USA team just before the World Cup Finals in 1999.Charmaine scored both goals with brilliant solo efforts. She also took her college team (North Carolina State) to the NCAA finals, her club team (Atlanta Beat) to the inaugural WUSA championship game last year, her Japanese club team to the Championship (when she played professionally in Japan) and her Chicago Cobra's cup team to the club championship. She is Canada's all- time leading goal scorer.
